Transcending the Sooner state on foot, from West to East, 521 miles in 8 days...averaging 65 miles a day.
This type of adventure I cannot do alone, after-all it takes a village, right!?! So this journey will require a minimum of two crew members at any given time, an RV so that they can support my running efforts and so that we can sleep at night and tons of food and supplies to fuel us. They will be setting up food and resupplying me every 1-1.5 hours. The crew will also be swapping out every 2-3 days so they don't get burned out taking care of my beat down and tired self!
The cost of this journey adds up very quickly, so this is why I turn to you now. With the time off from work (2 weeks), gas money, RV costs, food and supplies...it makes this trip nearly financially impossible for me.
A documentary film maker will also be joining me for this trip. He aims to share my story and document the struggles of undertaking such an ambitious goal of running across Oklahoma. So I am also raising funds to support the film.
