Transmission Repairs and more

My name is Roxanne Rezentes, and I'm starting this gofundme to help my dad pay for the repairs needed on his '99 Dodge Ram Truck.

It's been an awesome vehicle for us for many years and never gave us trouble, we like to think it's the reincarnation of our old 4-Runner truck who also took good care of us.

The transmission is what's giving us problems, and the cost is likely to be between $3,500 - $3,800 in total.

Our household is on a fixed income right now, and the cost is a bit outside of our price range. I'm hoping to raise enough money to take care of this truck and pay for her expenses.

I'm shooting for $50,000 which I realize is well over the estimated expense, however I'm thinking also about any "surprise" problems that may arise in her tranny being fixed as well.

Anything that all of you can do to help me reach this goal would be appreciated, Share my link with everyone you know as well.

When dad and I were working, I wouldn't normally worry about these expenses, however with he and I out of work right now, I'm still trying to get a job. But he was forced to retire and is now on SSI as well for COPD. So our spending has been a lot on the tight side for many things.
