Hi, my name is Daniel Carriedo, and I am the board secretary of GOD’S CHOSEN ONES, a non-profit dedicated to rebuilding people's lives after completing addiction recovery programs.

After over three years of providing housing, resources, counseling, and opportunities in our transition home in Lebanon, PA, we were forced to close our doors due to financial constraints after the COVID lockdowns. We have since moved our headquarters to California, and are working tirelessly to gather the funds to help us secure a new home in San Diego.

We’re on a mission to provide safe, affordable, and supportive transitional housing for those in recovery. Our goal is to bridge the gap between treatment and independent living, offering stability and a community where individuals can thrive and continue their journey of renewal.

Right now, we’re raising funds to open a transition home in San Diego, CA, and host our 2nd Annual San Diego Skate Expo—a community-driven event featuring giveaways, professional skater appearances, and a day of connection and inspiration. These efforts are critical to laying the foundation for our long-term mission of transforming lives.
