Help transform the lives of Haitian children

Dear family and friends,
On June 9th I'll be racing in the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon in support of the What If Foundation, a wonderful nonprofit that supports food and education programs to transform the lives of Haitian children living in poverty.
As some of you know, this is a cause near and dear to my heart. My father in law was from Haiti and worked most of his life to improve conditions in his country. And now my wife is the Executive Director of the What If Foundation and is working hard to make a difference in the lives of these children. I had the chance to visit Haiti with both of them a few years ago and I was struck by its beauty as much as its dire needs.
The majority of Haitians live on less than $2.5 per day and one in five children under the age of five suffer from chronic malnutrition and related health issues. The What If Foundation partners with a grassroots organization in Port-au-Prince to deliver food, education and community support programs that are transforming the lives of the children in this community and beyond. All of these programs live at the Fr. Jeri School in the Ti Plas Kazo neighborhood of Port-au-Prince.
With your help, I'm hoping to raise enough funds to pay for the annual tuition for 10 children at the Fr. Jeri School and give them the opportunity to achieve a better future.
