<div>Hello. We are Jamie Grant (Ed.D. from Harvard and a teacher of Transcendental Meditation) and Asha Sharma (high school science teacher and Ph.D. candidate at Maharishi International University). We are leading a team researching the impact of Transcendental Meditation (TM) on migraines and seek your support for our groundbreaking study, which could transform migraine treatment.

<div>Migraines affect nearly one billion people worldwide, causing significant disability. While drugs are the primary treatment, they don't work for everyone, can have side effects, and are often expensive. We're investigating TM as a non-pharmacological alternative.

<div>Our preliminary survey of 335 TM practitioners with migraine history showed promising results:
</div>
<div>· 19% said that migraine ended entirely
</div>
<div>· The percentage of those experiencing intense migraine dropped by 2/3 after learning TM.
</div>
<div>· More than 50% reported that TM practice led to cessation or reduction of aura, could prevent migraine onset, and reduced the intensity of migraine after it had started.
</div>

<div>These findings justify a more rigorous study. We're conducting a three-month pilot study with 30 participants experiencing monthly 6-14 migraine days. We'll measure migraine frequency, intensity, and impact on functionality. We need to raise $20,000 to complete our $31,700 budget. Your contribution will cover the cost of TM training. Research and management costs are being donated.
