TransAtlantic Healing 4 African Sovereignty

 

 

 

 

I'm making my 1st journey home to the mother land!!! I am going on an ancestral pilgrimage to continue an intergenerational prayer for Black & Indigenous land, economic, & cultural sovereignty. 

 

My name is Amani Will. I am from the HoodHippie Universe. I carry Inner Equity Coaching. As I receive the altar of an emerging personal coaching & counseling practice, grow my online trainings, creative liberation consulting services & artivism -- as I digest, integrate, & create in these unprecedented times -- I find myself guided to make a journey home to the motherland. I have made many ancestral pilgrimages on turtle island (the Americas) to heal the intergenerational traumas severing land, economic, & cultural sovereignty & wellness in our lineages, & to honor the rich, complex, & sacred paths of our ancestors & our prayers for the future. On this momentous trip I am guided to call in your presence & resources to bring offerings to the earth, ancestral spirits, & our comrades on the ground already building community, healing our peoples, & setting up intergenerational wealth for all of us Africans & allies.

 

 

 

 

We are collaborating with Victorious Wanjiro, Califa Consulting & the Universal Family Network. They are in the process of raising $100k in the next 8 months to buy the compound they run their wholistic education consultancy, wellness center, & after school programing from in the greater Accra area. They are raising another $110k to expand their programs, develop an on-site store to support economic sovereignty & teach entrepreneurship skills to the children. They will also use the funds to provide transitional housing to their clients rematriating to Ghana.

 

 

 

We are collaborating with Zochi Young; Author, Founder & Wellness Architect of Tenesu!, dedicated to assisting black folks in the process of recovery and healing from the social, historical, & generational traumas and injustices that hinder the uplifting of our communities. Tenesu Wellness is an innovative social enterprise designed to develop African-Centered networks and environments across the continent for the collective health & well-being of Africa & its diaspora to restore, heal, & thrive. They offer a variety of services, training, programming, & infrastructure that provides safe spaces for African communities to rise, return, heal, & evolve beyond the trauma, stressors & single narratives of toxic and limiting environments. Money raised for Tenesu! will primarily be used for programming in Ethiopia & preliminary infrastructure development in Ghana. 

 

 

 

 

We are also collaborating with Ise Lyfe & Lyfe Productives as the musical director of an album, film, & theatre project thematically exploring the tension between where we as a species have come from, where we are, & where we seem to be going. I will bring the sounds, music, language, and sensibilities of West Africa into the project. We would like to generously redistribute some of this U.S. money to the African artivists we work with.
