Creating a new trance forum and community
Our current website Trancefix.nl - one of the best and biggest online trance communities on the web - is having to close. However, the community has come together and decided to continue the legacy, focusing on building a new forum. With new technology, great functionality and the same quality of music sharing and discussion we’ve known for 15 years.
This fundraiser is to help make a new Trance community a reality.
Goal - €1000
Amazing guys and girls. We reached our goal in just 4 days! Thanks to everyone who contributed. This will help massively to the costs that come with building, designing and hosting the website. Here’s how we will spend the money:
- Purchasing XenoForo software
- Designing the site (buying templates, buying extra functionality)
- Hosting and server costs
- Migrating the old forum into the new (as best as possible)
- Cover future costs for webhosting etc.
Migration Update
Migrating the old forum data into the new may be possible, however the process has requirements that may be out of our hands. That being said we will try everything we can to make it happen and persevere the legacy of the old site.
Stretch Goal - €1500
This goal is for extra funding to help build the website. We can hire a company who specialises with XenoForo to build our website exactly how we want it and designed very well. This will not only speed up the development of the process, but also likely yield a more quality and tailored results. Any left over costs will go back into hosting and keeping the forum alive.
