Trained Support Dog for Signe

Signe is a beautiful, compassionate, and brave young girl. Because of her very early arrival into this world, she faces the unique struggles and challenges of being trach dependent for life. In addition to those challenges she lost the hero of her life, her Daddy, just 18 months ago. In her twelve years, she has endured endless surgeries, hospital stays, endless lessons for finding her unique speaking voice, grief for her Daddy, and has recently become the survivor of bullying because of her condition. This has caused a sudden onset of anxiety and loss of confidence for this otherwise brave, fun-loving girl.
It was suggested that a companion/therapy dog, specifically trained for her special needs, could help ease her anxiety and renew her confidence. Signe's love for animals is apparent to all, but her special condition requires a dog that is gentle and trained to accommodate her specific needs.
Then, when Cavaliers by Crumley, in Lula, Georgia, heard of Signe's desire for a companion/therapy dog, they reached out and said that they had a dog, Sky, whose unique temperament would make him a great fit for Signe. They also offered to reduce the price of the purchase. However, they still need to cover the cost of breeding Sky's parents and training Sky. After Sky is trained, Cavaliers by Crumley will cover the cost to send him from Georgia to Montana where he and Signe will be united and start their new journey together-showing the world that being different should be a celebration of wagging tails and smiles.
