Hello everyone,
This past weekend, our fraternity's house mom and her family had tragedy strike as their home was burned down in a fire. Unfortunately, they lost everything. Vanessa and her children were severely injured, and sadly Vanessa's husband Jason passed away. Right now they need whatever help they can get. Vanessa is an amazing woman who has always put others first in the time that I have known her, and the brothers of ZBT can all attest to this. Right now, Vanessa needs help more than ever and ZBT wants to be there for her.
Vanessa and Jason have contributed so much to our fraternity since they started working with us. Whether it was helping clean up our house, helping out with maintenance issues, or just keeping the organization running on a daily basis; we would not have been able to keep operating without them. Both of these people always had a smile on their face while doing their jobs, and they were such a pleasure to have around our house. A conversation with either of them could brighten any brother's day. For all that they have done for us, it is only right we try to give back to their family in any way we can in this time of need.
Our fraternity is looking to fundraise any money or take any form of donations we can get to help out the Trail family. We have set a goal of $20,000. I want to reiterate they have lost everything, so any donation, either big or small will help. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to any ZBT's and we will gladly answer your questions. If you are unable to donate please keep their family in your prayers.
