Thanksgiving was not as we expected this year. My dear friend, Adam (pictured), had car trouble and as his friend was trying to give him a jump on the side of the expressway, a box truck hit them both. Adam sustained fractures from C3 thru C6 and had to receive immediate surgery. He is going to be recuperating and going through physical therapy in the upcoming months. He is not eligible for any benefits at his place of employment as he had not been there long enough. So he was kindly let go with the ability to reapply when he is recovered, if able to do the job. He has a wife that is very ill, and a 10-year-old son. Any help that you can offer this family, especially during this giving season, would be greatly appreciated.
