Tragic passing of my amazing dad, Jeff Kozlowski

Our amazing dad, loving husband, and talented writer and photographer tragically passed today. While he went for a morning surf his heart suddenly stopped. Our dad was our hero, he brought joy and light to everyone. He worked in special education and education for over 20 years. He spent his final days continuing to fight for children to have the best education possible.

I love my dad more than anything. He taught me so much about life, spirituality, history, movies, photography, nature, everything that is beautiful in this world he was. He was also so funny, so loving, and the most talented writer. He loved to travel, he even had his dream trip planned to Europe next summer. He supported us in whatever we decided to do. He told me to chase my dreams no matter how hard! I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. I can’t imagine the world and my life without him. I’ll never feel complete again.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help my family try our best to carry on. That is what he would’ve wanted. My brother needs to finish and graduate from college, my mom needs a place to live. We have bills. We have to keep surviving for him despite how hard it is. Anything will help us greatly.
