Tragic Car Accident - Need Help

On February 11th Adam Pyles, loving husband and father of 2, was involved in a serious, near fatal car accident in Mercersburg, PA.  He was sent to a local hospital and then quickly transported to a shock and trauma center as his injuries were too severe.  It was there that he underwent immediate back surgery to repair two broken vertebrae, but after surgery started the doctors realized that the damage was much worse than the scans showed.  Adam’s thecal sac was also torn badly.  A surgery that should have taken 3-4 hours ended up taking 8 hours.  Adam has been told by doctors over and over again that he is so lucky to be alive, however, his road to recovery is long and uncertain at the moment.  He is not sure when he will be released to rejoin his family and/or what his treatment looks like for rehabilitation.  With each passing day his future grows even more uncertain. We don't know when he will be able to return to his life, his family and to work, which certainly won’t be in the near future.  His family is desperate for prayers and need help paying growing medical bills and they also need help to support themselves while he is out of work in addition to help with travel expenses while in the hospital and possibly rehabilitation center.  The hope is that this page will help our family focus more on Adam than this massive financial burden.  Please, any help is so greatly appreciated, and please keep him and our family in your thoughts and prayers.  Thank you!
