Trader Jan’s Archery Pro-Shop has found a new home in Dartmouth, Ma !!

We still need your help to keep our family business going. So many things are required to get settled 100% in our new location. 

Here's a little back story on our family business;

After 31 years at 288 Plymouth Ave Fall River, MA, our building is being sold and turned into a storage facility. We are saddened to leave but super excited to be able to offer the same customer service at our new location!

Trader Jan’s Archery Pro-Shop became the family-run business today when my Mom and Dad started shooting Archery in the mid-1980s. Around our area, there were only a couple of Archery shops to go to. After a few years of going to the last remaining shop in the area, my folks were becoming increasingly frustrated with the shop's availability at that time. So, our family decided to venture out and open a family-friendly Archery shop, a shop where everyone is welcome, from the youngest Archer to the most experienced Archer.

My parents ran the business until 1996 when I took the company over. I've taken the business and expanded it to include an expanded custom bowstrings division (Wicked Twisted Bowstrings). Unfortunately, the past couple of years has been challenging to keep our small family-owned and operated business going.

With winter fast approaching, I need a more suitable struction for us and our customers. Unfortunately, although I've been looking at a few possibilities, all the options are out of my budget.

We are reaching out to the Archery community and the Outdoor industry for support with our GoFundMe campaign.

Some of you may wonder why after so many years in business, we do not have the resources to get a more permit structure. The fact is that the financial stability of this store was continually operating at a small margin in order to keep production costs low. Once 2020 hit with the COVID epidemic, we were forced to close for a period that depleted any extra working capital our small family business was able to save. Then having to move in April of 2022, just completely depleted funds.
