Tracy's Surgery

Hello everyone, 

I am setting up this GoFund Me Account for my Mother, Tracy. Tracy is a hard-working mother of 2 kids by her spouse Eddie. Recently,  my mother was having some stomach discomfort that led her into the doctor's office for a checkup. After an abnormal CT and an outpatient procedure, it was discovered that a "malignant" 8 CM mass had formed. While our family remained optimistic unfortunately the mass had other plans. Pathology confirmed that the mass was in-fact Colon Cancer. 

These are words you never expect nor want to hear in your family. 

With great physicians on our side, we were able to get in to see her surgeon to get the ball rolling on the next step. 

Mom will be required to undergo a major 3-4 hour invasive surgery, October 24th. This surgery will allow for the tumor to be removed and sent to pathology to determine what stage she is in. That will then determine our next steps. Mom's surgery will be a 2-6 day recovery in the hospital and she plans to take 2 weeks from work for both the procedure and recovery. 

Anyone who knows my mother knows she is a fighter. We don't want everyone to feel sorry the cards we've been dealt but rather stay positive and send positive thoughts to kick this cancers ass! 

This go FundMe was created in hopes to float just between family and friends (Please do not share publically on Facebook). I am hoping to gain some financial relief for my mother between the cost of surgery and for the time she is taking to heal. Anything donated is GREATLY appreciated!
