Tracy Dinelle of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario passed away from breast cancer on June 21-2016 at the age of 52. During her 4 year battle Tracy realized the stress and financial burden associated with parking costs for so many appointments a cancer patient must attend. Tracy started Tracy's Dream in Jan. 2015
Tracy’s Dream, has been developed to help support cancer patients with parking costs while attending treatments at the Algoma District Cancer Program. Tracy Dinelle’s hope was that through this initiative, she could help others by lessening their burden. “I would like to help cancer patients have a stress-free day while they are having their treatments,”
To date Tracy's Dream Charity has been accessed on over 2000 occasions with the average cost $48.00 per occasion. Tracy's Dream continues to provide this support on a daily basis. Although the community support is solid there is a need to continue to fund-raise to sustain the amount of support given to patients.
