Tracy and Carter for Life

Good Morning everyone,
I’m starting this Go Fund Me for my long time friend Tracy Thompson to help alleviate some financial stress as she walks this new battle in their lives.
Her youngest son, Carter was born April 1, 2009 and at only 4 months of age he went into heart failure. Carter was given the gift of life in September 24, 2009 with a new heart. He has had some bumps along the way but over all seemed to be doing great. This past Tuesday ( August 21st ) Carter began to have some pain and discomfort and was taken to Children’s Hospital. After many tests they have found that he has cancer in both kidneys and bowels. Carter underwent biopsies and more tests and are waiting on results from the bone marrow text and spinal tap to confirm whether the cancer has spread elsewhere. They hope to receive these results early this next week. These results will help guide them as to the direction and duration of treatment required. They started chemotherapy Friday, August 24th.
Due to the down turn in the economy Tracy has been out of work for 9 months of this past year. Her E.I. will soon run out, and this is her only means of financial support for her family at this time.
Any amount donated is greatly appreciated. Tracy needs to be by her son's side.
