Traci's Fight is Our Fight #cancer

Just days after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, my good friend Traci Sergi was diagnosed with the exact same cancer.  This woman was the only colleague at my wedding, the person who I've shared some of my best and worst moments with and an incredible educator who fights for the needs of our most special students while supporting their families and teachers.

Traci Sergi is a warrior, but I want her going into this fight with the finest swords - not sticks and stones!  This mom of two amazing young men is facing chemotherapy in the upcoming weeks.  As someone fighting the same fight, I know it's not cheap and there are a lot of hidden costs.  Right now Traci is in need of funds for things that will make her life easier, more convenient and more comfortable so she can use her $ for the expense of hospital bills and medications.   

She's hoping to purchase items such as hats, weighted blankets, the Amazon Echo, comfortable clothes, noise-canceling headphones, entertainment for chemo time and all of the other unexpected expenses of fighting this sucky disease.   Time is of the essence as she'd like to get everything set up before chemo starts in the next few weeks.  Any amount you contribute is appreciated - and if that's not possible right now, a note of good luck or a positive email can do so much lift the spirits.

I hate that she has to go through this. I hate that so many women have to go through this.  However, if I was going to battle with someone, I'd pick Traci any day.
