After a routine mammogram, and subsequent follow up testing and biopsy, Tracie was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma- Triple Negative, grade 2, Stage 2B on 12/21/20. Chemotherapy started 1/14 and will be every other Thursday for 16 weeks. Surgery will follow chemotherapy. We aren’t sure yet if radiation will also be necessary. This is very aggressive treatment for breast cancer and the prognosis is good. Tracie’s doctor is confident in her strength and ability to do this.

Because the diagnosis fell in 2020, Tracie is facing two medical deductibles totaling $6000. Additionally, she will be running out of sick days and will be seeing a drop in income over the next few months.
