Dear precious Family and Friends,
Seven years ago I was presented with this same opportunity and I chose a different path.
However, I am blessed with the wonderful opportunity again. Knowing beyond knowing, much wiser and with great peace, I am choosing what God has prepared me to do.
I have been accepted into a mission program with the Christian organization Youth with a Mission (YWAM). This is a six month commitment from October 2017 through March 2018. I will have three months of discipleship training followed by three months of backpacking to remote villages of a yet to be determined country to bring the message of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Through the redemptive power of Christ I have overcome many of life’s challenges. It has been “progress not perfection” in forgiveness, grace, mercy and obedience, moving onward toward freedom and peace. I am joyfully going to the YWAM Discipleship Training to serve God, and to grow in His love and His Word.
Please prayerfully consider supporting me through a monetary gift.
The mission trip will cost $9,000.00, due by October 7th. I would be so grateful if you felt led to help me with this expense.
I assure you that it will be used to advance the Kingdom of God. Please keep me in your prayers for safe travel and that God uses me to impact lives and further His Kingdom.
