Kids In Crisis has provided critical crisis prevention and intervention to more than 148,000 children and their families in Connecticut since 1978. Kids In Crisis is the only Connecticut agency that provides free, 24/7 phone and in-person crisis counseling interventions and emergency shelter for any newborn to 17 year old. The agency also provides crisis prevention education and intervention programs in Fairfield County elementary, middle and high schools, and advocacy for kids at the national, regional, state, and local levels.
