Help Joanna Beat Cancer!

Friends and family reaching out for help of any kind for my wife Joanna. Joanna as most of you will know is a 43 year old mother of two young children, aged 5 and 7 and requires immediate treatment and care.

In April this year Joanna became concerned by constant pains and cramps in her abdomen. Following consultations with local GP’s and specialists she was referred to a colonoscopy the results of which showed Joanna had bowel cancer. Further tests in the weeks that followed showed Joanna had stage 4 cancer, it had spread to her liver and lymph’s and has been told is ‘not curable’.

Firstly Joanna must embark on an intense course of therapy in Poland. The aim of this therapy is to shrink her cancer so it can be further treated elsewhere through chemotherapy/immunotherapy and/or operated on and in the future made manageable or possibly cured.

Unfortunately the initial stages of this treatment (initial course of therapy) is not covered by Joanna’s health insurance so we are leaning on the support of friends, family and the public to assist in funding this part of her cancer treatment and related medical expenses.
