Hi, my name is Samantha. I spent 9 years in a heavily abusive relationship. My ex stole money from me and used my credit cards until I was unable to leave because I had no money. I had to quit the process of starting school and focus on getting out of debt. He was always verbally and emotionally violent, but he started becoming physically and sexually violent over the last few years. I got to the point in early August I just packed up and left, becoming homeless for a couple of weeks before moving in with my parents. Just after I did, he started stalking and harassing me. He threatened to end my life and his own, and cops had to get involved. Charges have been laid, but I had to move again to maintain my parents safety. I'm starting this gofundme as a last ditch effort, as the little amount I managed to save despite him got swallowed up with the cost of moving twice, and the legal costs implicated as well.
