On November 9, 2017, Turning Piont USA at the University of Wyoming hosted Dennis Prager on campus. 600 people attended the event in person and 75,000 tuned in to PragerU's livestream, resulting in PragerU's largest livestream audience in history.
Three weeks later, the Associated Students of the University of Wyoming moved to cut TPUSA's future funding.
After battling student government, our chapter's ability to draw future funding was finally reinstated. Months later, the University community has been engaging in discussions and events regarding freedom of speech on college campuses. These conversations are in large part due to the efforts of TPUSA at the University of Wyoming.
