Tessy's Heart Repair

6 years ago, our family was blessed with our beautiful little girl Tessa, she has been an absolute joy for our whole family. Unfortunately at 4 months old Tessa required a very extensive heart surgery as she was born with unbalanced AVSD. Basically Tessa's heart had no valves, no chambers, no wall and 5 holes. We spent most of those first 4 months in the hospital. Luckily the doctors at Toronto sick kids were able to repair her little heart and save her life and things have been great up until recently. Yesterday a blockage was discovered in Tessa's Aortic Artery that requires an extensive repair as well as a valve replacement. This news has left us broken, it was not something our family was prepared for emotionally or financially. Tess was supposed to begin grade one this year and it's our goal to see this happen for her as she loves school so much. Unfortunately Tessa will require alot of care and healing time to get there which will put alot of strain on our family financially. We are thankful for any help and support.
