Save for Sight!

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to read. I have fond childhood memories of saying goodnight to my parents, only to hide under the covers and read three-inch-thick books with a flashlight. I would stay up until sunrise reading my books!

But, when I lost my sight, I had to stop reading. I never thought I’d be able to read a book again.

When I tried eSight, I read for the first time in 10 years! I could read the tiniest print and it felt so amazing to finally hold a novel in my hands again! My mom came with me to try the glasses, and I couldn’t help but tear up when I saw her face…I can’t wait to finally see my kids’ faces when I get my pair!

I feel as if parts of my life were taken away when I lost my sight, and eSight is the ticket to gaining these back. I had been studying early childhood education and I had dreams of opening up my own daycare, but I could no longer drive and I had to leave school. When I get my eSight, I plan to go back to school to study social work so I can open up my own practice!

Being able to see again is the most empowering sensation I’ve ever felt. I can’t wait to do all the things I love and miss...especially reading! It would mean the world to me if you donated to my campaign—the sooner I get my eSight, the sooner I can have my life back!
