Townsville Mission Trip 2024

Hey, I’m Isabelle and I’m starting this fundraiser in order to purchase a ticket for my first mission trip.

Ever since I was a kid, I had wanted to someday go on a missions trip. I found them so inspiring and loved the concept of doing good for those in need. Now that I am older and have become a Christian, I have a greater understanding and motivation toward the purpose of a mission trip. I am keen to spread the gospel, evangelise and to provide help and a safe refuge to those in need.

Often we will hear of mission trip’s being in poorer, third world countries, but we forget the fact that people in our own country, let alone workplace or sporting group, may not know Jesus. I find it so important and empowering that we can be ‘on a mission’ anywhere. And so, instead of travelling and impacting internationally, I’ll be joining Community Church Warrigal (CCW) on their mission trip to Townsville in December, who will be partnering with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), one of the most well-organised bases in Australia. I am so excited to meet new souls, be a vessel for the Lord to help save lives and to be able to passionately share stories from The Word and my own life.

But in order to do so, I need to purchase a ticket to go. And I will not be able to do that without your help. So I am humbly and vulnerably asking that you help and support me in funding my ticket for this mission trip. Going on this mission trip would be a dream come true and a prayer answered and I would so appreciate the backing. If you feel that you cannot financially assist but would like to help in some other way, I would love prayer regarding the mission trip and for the preparation leading up to it.
