Guide Horses Affected By Government Shutdown

Sacred Monument Tours is a Navajo family-owned tour company located in Monument Valley, USA. The business is currently owned by our Founder, Torrie Holiday, who started the business on horseback tours. Currently, our horseback tours remain our most requested service. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus and shutdowns, we're lacking revenue to maintain the care of our horses.

On March 11th, the Navajo Nation President issued a Declaration of Emergency to combat COVID-19. The public notice required all Navajo Tribal Parks and businesses, including ours, to be closed to the public on March 14th, 2020. Two months later, we've canceled and refunded over 150 bookings and lost thousands of dollars. After applying for loans, we were declined from 4 different lenders due to the number of applicants. We are currently struggling to maintain the health and safety of our 50 horses. Many of which have been rescued, personally raised, and trained by our staff. The horses are our family, and it's heartwarming when visitors consider them a friend they want to come back for. 100% of your donations will go towards feeding, medical expenses, training, and day-to-day maintenance. Sacred Monument Tours would like to thank you in advance for your support and donations. We wish you, your loved ones, and businesses good health and safety!
