Toughest Guy I Know: Aidan's Mom needs help

A life saving transplant is such a wonderful gift for a boy born with no kidneys and we are so grateful that we will be entrusted to see our Aidan flourish as he grows. Please help us care for this little miracle while we are facing this challenging time due to the current pandemic and not being able to physically leave the hospital. Thanks to FMLA, a job is waiting once we get this boy on his feet, however, there is no salary while we are here taking care of him. Our little treasure is just past two years old, with all 872 days of it spent in the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. The past two years have been filled with weekly trips and several emergency mid-week trips as he has grown and lived his life attached to support machines. Unfortunately, Aidan’s mom has exhausted all sick leave, PTO, and is no longer eligible to take off time for the trips that were so necessary over the past two years of his life. We appreciate any help that you can give and we will forever work to pay it forward to the next family who faces a similar dilemma. Any remaining proceeds will be donated to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital located in Iowa City, IA.
