In the coming months his parents, Sarah and Justin, will have to find a way to accommodate Brycen at home and protect him from germs and getting sick, while still caring for their other 4 children, some of whom have special needs of their own. His older sister is a severe asthmatic and brother is on the autism spectrum. Brycen’s parents will have to take him to Phoenix Children’s Hospital every 4 days for all-day chemo treatments in addition to daily oral chemo and steroids at home. On top of that there will be a myriad of appointments and procedures along the way. As you can imagine, managing this family of 7 is already a bit of a juggling act, so these new circumstances are going to be a real challenge for Brycen and his family.
Justin works as a respiratory therapist and Sarah keeps the wheels turning as a stay-at-home Super-Mom. The family has 2 cars that are definitely on their way out and being a single income family, they are already living paycheck-to-paycheck. While they are fortunate to have insurance through Justin’s work, it definitely won’t cover everything. This family is going to need a lot of love and support over the coming years, and are definitely going to have expenses that they are not capable of paying themselves. Please find it in your heart to share whatever you can spare. Thank you in advance and welcome to #TeamBrycen. #toughlikebryce
