Tough 4 T - Help Us Support Tiana

Help the Mangakahia family to support Tiana

My beautiful and only daughter, Tiana has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. At only 24 years of age and with no family history of breast cancer, we are devastated and in shock. I never thought this would happen to my baby girl.

When she was little, Tiana loved playing basketball with her 5 brothers in the back yard. Tiana was recently invited to attend the Opals Training in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics. She has played with Spartans in Brisbane, attended Hutchinson Community College and is currently at Syracuse University.

Funds are needed so the family can be over in the USA with Tiana during chemotherapy, surgery, radiation and to support her during this fight. Syracuse University is helping with our first flight over (thank you so much) where dad and I are staying for 4 weeks, to be with Tiana for her first 2 chemo treatments. However, we need to cover a span of many months, so family members are flying back and forth around their work commitments to support Tiana. 

Thanks to everyone at Syracuse University who are surrounding Tiana with love and support, particularly Coach Q and the basketball community.

Thanks to my friends and family members who have expressed their willingness to help and since some are in other countries I have set up this page for friends and loved ones to financially help and bless our family at this difficult time.
