Our friend Jamie got sick last week. He ended up in the hospital yesterday October 8th, they scheduled surgery this morning to drain a spot he had. When they got him in, it turned out a lot worse than they first thought.
He was transported to Tulsa where they went in and cleaned up a lot of the dead tissue. He will need several more surgeries including one tomorrow and be here for quite a while.
We have no idea where he picked up an infection, but it’s very bad. Luckily he’s not contagious so that’s a good thing.
His report from his doctors tonight was a lot better than the outlook first given.
Jamie is self employed as a truck driver and could be in the hospital for 4 weeks and off work 4-6 weeks after that if not longer. He and Stephanie have 2 kids living at home and without his income things will become lean quickly.
We we are trying to raise funds to help with everyday expenses and for travel back and forth to Tulsa.
The immediate need is daily bills, the worry for medical expenses will come later. That will be significant as you can imagine.
Anything you are able to donate is greatly appreciated and will go directly to Jamie.
