It is often stated that great quarterbacks only play until their mid-thirties. I guess I didn't get the memo.
As I head towards my 50th birthday(yikes!), I wanted to do something special while doing something I love. For every touchdown pass I throw from September 7 to November 15, I will donate $50 to the NJ Special Olympics.
The Special Olympics are truly an unbelievable organization that runs programs for special needs children. As I watched my children give their time year after year volunteering at our local chapter, I knew a long time ago that I wanted to help too.
Please join me in my quest to help special needs kids with either a one-time donation or by sending me an email whereby you pledge a per touchdown amount. I will update this page every Monday so you can see how I am doing. My personal goal is to throw 20 touchdowns in that time period.
