Totto's Bone Marrow Transplant

Our good friend Totto has been quietly and bravely fighting Hodgkin lymphoma for two years and he needs our help to recover from his most severe treatment yet.
He has already endured one bone marrow transplant and many months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He has lost his hair multiple times. Had surgery, infections, antibiotics, drips and infusions, blood transfusions, nausea, vomiting, tubes in his arms and his chest, constant blood tests and spent way too much time in hospital.
He is currently being looked after on the transplant ward at St George's Hospital, London in a special air filtered room because he has no immune system. I admire him so much for his bravery and as a Doctor who specialises in his illness I know how hard his treatments are.
In addition to the brutality of his treatment, he has been unable to work consistently over the past two years placing him under significant financial stress. Money is the last thing anyone should have to worry about when they’re fighting for their life.
In the face of all this adversity he has maintained an incredibly positive attitude but unfortunately, after every treatment the lymphoma has come back. This has led him to his current treatment, a bone marrow transplant from his sister Emperatriz.
Totto has been fighting quietly, but recently opened up about his illness on social media; paving the way for us to setup this campaign. Totto’s family are in Venezuela so he needs our support.
When he is discharged, hopefully in a few weeks, it will take months for his immune system to be strong enough to return to work and during this time he will require frequent hospital visits and cannot travel on public transport due to his weak immune system. The money raised will be used to help pay his rent, bills, transport and food whilst he is recovering from his transplant and is unable to work.

Mi amigo Totto ha estado luchando contra el cancer de Hodgkin durante casi dos años. Ya ha sufrido un trasplante de médula ósea y meses de quimioterapia y radioterapia. Perdió el cabello varias veces, se a sometió a cirugía, infecciones, antibióticos, infusiones, transfusiones de sangre, náuseas, vómitos, tubos en el brazo y el pecho, análisis de sangre constantes y ya ah pasado mucho mas tiempo que ninguna personal se merece en el hospital y todo con esto el tiene la actitud mas positiva en el mundo que yo eh visto.
Desafortunadamente, después de cada tratamiento el cancer ha regresado. Esto lo ha llevado a su tratamiento actual, un trasplante de médula ósea de su hermana Emperatriz. Lo admiro mucho por su valor, pero como médico que se especializo en su enfermedad, sé lo difícil que son sus tratamientos. Recientemente reveló su enfermedad en las redes sociales, así que quiero ayudarlo para que pueda concentrarse en recuperarse de su trasplante en los próximos meses. Actualmente se le está cuidando en la sala de trasplantes del Hospital St. George, Londres, en una sala especial con filtro de aire porque no tiene sistema inmunológico.
La familia de Totto está en Venezuela, ¡así que el necesita tu apoyo! Cuando sea dado de alta con suerte, en pocas semanas requerirá meses de visitas al hospital y su nuevo sistema inmunológico tardará meses en fortalecerse, y no podrá trabajar.
