To Spokane and Back Again

We have a kidney! We have found a gracious angel who is sharing part of themselves with us on December 4th, when they donate their kidney to Josh at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, WA. Josh was diagnosed several years ago with polycystic kidney disease (PKD). He has been on the waiting list for a new kidney for the last two years and has been on dialysis since the beginning of the year. While we are blessed with health insurance that will cover the majority of our medical expenses, we are without travel benefits. Josh will need to remain in the Spokane area for a few weeks following the surgery, while our donor will need to stay at least a week post-surgery. We are asking all of our friends and family (and their friends and family!) to help us raise the funds to assist in covering some of the travel expenses. We are blessed by the gift that this person is giving to us and would like to be able to help provide for them in return. Thanks for any and all help that you can give!
