Can’t wait to see you all back at Tosca!
We are excited to announce the reopening of Tosca! We will open for indoor dining and take out beginning on Wednesday, July 8 at 5:00 p.m. Our hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (dinner service only). We encourage reservations, as seating will be limited.

As we resume business, please know that the safety and well-being of both our employees and our guests is our primary concern. We will adhere to all of the recommended guidelines set forth by the DC Public Health Department and the CDC, and do our best to keep everyone safe.

When I started this page, I had no idea what to expect. All I knew was that over the years, each of us at Tosca have grown to know all of you on a personal level...creating unique relationships with staff, management and ownership. We have truly built a family and that is more evident now than ever.
Our thanks is just not enough to show how much we appreciate your overwhelming support and generosity to us in this time of need. Your contributions have helped more than 45 staff members!!! Although our page shows total funds raised, I wanted you to know that we have completed the first round of distrubtion having withdrawn 2/3 of the funds and distributed the monies to our servers, bussers, food runners, bartenders, and kitchen staff). I know some of you have asked specifically to make sure that everyone--including management--gets a piece of the donations, but please know that some of us have waived our shares to others who are in more need.
Again, we are so grateful for your donations. And I have noticed that some of you have made a second round of contributions. Words cannot convey our gratitude, but just know how much this means...how much you mean to us. Thank you so much!

As you are well aware, recent events have impacted our normal everyday lives and, for most in the DC restaurant industry, that also means they are not able to work. And for those who rely on tips (your bussers, wait staff, food runners and bartenders), unemployment is just not going to be enough to carry them through this tough time.
We are so thankful that many of you understand this situation and want to help, so in response to the generous requests from our loyal regulars, we have set up this page so that you can send your donations to those employees who depend on tips and are seeking assistance.
We thank you in advance for any contributions you are able to make, and ensure that they will be distributed to those who are in most need at this time.
And now, on behalf of Paolo and the management team at Tosca, we thank you again for the overwhelming response! Members of our extended Tosca family have been so generous in their contributions and we very much appreciate this unbelievable outpouring of support. In fact, we have raised the goal yet again and hope this will not only help extend the funds to cover staff for a longer period of time, but also help support some of our non-tipped employees with the most need.
Regarding distribution of funds, please know that we will provide the raised monies to those Tosca employees whose income depend on tips and are willing to accept this assistance. We will absolutely ensure your contributions go to the intended recipients, which means that we will distribute the total funds using the same structure that tips are distributed in our establishment to ensure that each employee gets their fair share. For non-tipped employees, we will distribute funds based on individual level of need.
