Cielo Villa Helping CGB Family

Hurricanes Irma and Maria have devastated the British Virgin Islands. Many families on Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and other nearby islands have been displaced. Shelter is limited, and no building has come through unscathed - many buildings didn't come through at all. They will need to rebuild everything. The UK government is stepping in to assist with clearing streets and providing food and clean water to the people who are now homeless. I'm sure they'll be quick to start rebuilding, but we've created this fund to help replace belongings for some people who have lost everything.

We at Cielo Villa, on Luck Hill in Tortola, are raising funds to support our House Manager, Althea. She was injured in Hurricane Irma - luckily, her husband and 2 young children were unharmed, but their home was destroyed and their belongings are ruined. Their lives will need to be rebuilt from scratch. They will be sending us a list of items needed and 100% of this fund will go toward fulfilling as many of those items as budget allows.
