Hi friends, family, and strangers,

My beautiful sister, Torrey, has recently been diagnosed with Goodpasture Syndrome, for those of you who don't already know. It involves an autoimmune disorder. Usually, the immune system makes antibodies to fight off germs. But with Goodpasture syndrome, the immune system mistakenly makes antibodies that attack the kidneys. Unfortunately, this struck Torrey's kidney so aggressively that she went into kidney failure only a week after being diagnosed. She immediately started dialysis and is currently going three times a week. The doctors have explained that the kidney is the most impressive organ and can repair itself. It would be a small miracle, but we are praying this is possible.

Torrey is handling all of this like a champ and is staying positive and hopeful she will not need a kidney transplant.

One of the hardest parts for her is the medication is causing her to lose her hair. I hope to raise $2,000 in support to buy a beautiful wig to help her in this fight. Therefore, I am setting up this "Go Fund Me" page. All other profits will go towards supporting the hospital and medical expenses.

She has already received so much love and support from her family and friends. Your love does not go unnoticed. Forever grateful for you guys.
