Help Team Torque Racing Replace Stolen Equipment
Donation protected
We are TeamTorque BMX. We are a group of parents who believe that being a part of a team will inspire our children to work hard, strive to be their best, and ultimately become better human beings. This team encourages each racers to dig deep and find their core motivation and turn it into personal power. Amongst the odds, these kids have chosen the path of sports, community and comradery. To help them with personal development, our team has a training regimen. Our coach slowly paid for training gear out of his own pocket saying, “It’s all about the kids.” However, on November 20, 2019, a week before the biggest race of the year, the trailer holding all of our training equipment was stolen! With help from our community we retrieved the trailer, but found it empty and damaged. Our team lost over $4,500 worth of training and travel equipment that allowed us to help these kids reach higher levels for themselves in the sport as well as on personal levels. Without this gear our kids, who race locally as well as those working to become national contenders, cannot train at competitive levels. We are asking you, our community, to believe in these kids the way that we do and help us raise the funds to replace that which was wrongfully taken from us. When they stole our trailer, they didn’t just steal stuff; they stole hope from children.
