Toros FC Recovery Fund: Repair, Clean, & Replace
Donation protected
Toros FC is a volunteer-run grassroots football club proudly serving children and families in Hereford and the surrounding areas. We provide a safe, welcoming space for young players aged 4–16 to enjoy football, build confidence, and create lasting memories through matches and training.
On Saturday, 12th April 2025, our private grounds at Belmont Abbey (Ruckhall Lane, HR2 9RZ) were unlawfully occupied by a group of individuals. This trespass caused serious disruption, financial loss, and—most importantly—posed safeguarding risks to the children who rely on our facilities.
The aftermath has been devastating:
- Broken goalposts
- Damaged pitches
- A wrecked shed
- Paint splattered across our clubhouse and storage
- Sharp objects scattered across the field
- And piles of litter and debris left behind
Thanks to the incredible efforts of our dedicated volunteers, who gave up their time to clean and restore the site, we’re working hard to get the pitches back in use. But the damage to our equipment is far more costly and will take longer to fix.
We're now asking for your support to help us replace vital equipment and restore what was lost, so our young players can continue enjoying grassroots football in a safe and supportive environment.
Every penny raised will go directly towards repairing or replacing damaged gear for the benefit of local children. Any surplus funds will support our ongoing youth work or be donated to children’s charities.
Your generosity will help Toros FC recover, rebuild, and keep grassroots football thriving at Belmont Abbey.
To everyone who has already offered help, support, or kind words—thank you. We are truly grateful and inspired by your community spirit.
