Toronto family lost their mom Christmas 2019

Belarusian community in Toronto is fundraising for a family with two young kids (4 and 13) who tragically lost their mom just before Christmas 2019. The family asked to protect the identities so that kids will not stumble across the mom's name on the internet.
We are aiming to reach 10.000 CAD in order to help the dad and kids to navigate the transition period. The kids will need psychological support and the family members will have to travel from Belarus to Canada to help with the childcare. All remaining funds will be directed to children's education savings.
Belarusian Orthodox Church, Parysh of St. Kiryla of Turau in Toronto will provide charity receipts for all donations above 20 $. Please include your full name and address in the comments and the receipt will be mailed to you in early 2021. The Parish will transfer all funds to Piotr, Ala's husband, via direct bank transfer. Parish of St. Kiryla of Turau is a registered charitable organization and all financial records are submitted to CRA annually as well as shared with Parish members during Board meetings.
