<div>Al setembre de 2026 celebrarem el primer Torneig Solidari Sergio Ayala, un esdeveniment esportiu i benèfic que neix per honrar la memòria de Sergio Ayala Hernández, un jove apassionat del futbol que va morir als 16 anys després de lluitar amb una valentia extraordinària contra el DIPG (Glioma Difuso Intrínesec) agressius i amb menys opcions de tractament.

<div>Organitzat pel <strong>Rotary Club de Girona,</strong> el torneig reunirà equips de futbol Sub-16 a Sant Feliu de Guíxols amb un objectiu que va molt més enllà de l'esport: recaptar fons per a la investigació del DIPG i oferir esperança a les famílies que avui afronten aquesta malaltia devastadora. Tots els beneficis es destinaran a la investigació especialitzada en tumors cerebrals infantils desenvolupada pel Departament de Recerca del DIPG del Cim Universitat de Navarra.

<div>El DIPG afecta cada any desenes de nens i nenes i, avui dia, la supervivència continua sent extremadament baixa. La investigació és la única via per canviar aquesta realitat i apropar-nos a tractaments eficaços que permetin salvar vides.

<div>En septiembre de 2026 celebraremos el primer <strong>Torneo Solidario Sergio Ayala</strong> un evento deportivo y benéfico que nace para honrar la memoria de <strong>Sergio Ayala Hernández</strong>, un joven apasionado del fútbol que falleció a los 16 años tras luchar con una valentía extraordinaria contra el <strong>DIPG (Glioma Difuso Intrínseco de Tronco)</strong>, uno de los tumores cerebrales infantiles más agresivos y con menos opciones de tratamiento.

<div>Organizado por el  <strong>Rotary Club de Girona</strong>, el torneo reunirá a equipos de fútbol  <strong>Sub-16 en  Sant Feliu de Guíxols</strong> con un objetivo que va mucho más allá del deporte: recaudar fondos para la investigación del DIPG y ofrecer esperanza a las familias que hoy afrontan esta enfermedad devastadora. Todos los beneficios se destinarán a la investigación especializada en tumores cerebrales infantiles que desarrolla el <strong>Departamento de Investigación del DIPG del Cima Universidad de Navarra.</strong>

<div>El DIPG afecta cada año a decenas de niños y niñas y, a día de hoy, la supervivencia sigue siendo extremadamente baja. La investigación es la única vía para cambiar esta realidad y acercarnos a tratamientos eficaces que permitan salvar vidas.
