To my dear friends & family,

It is with great sadness that on Friday, November 22, 2024 our dear sweet nephew, Torean Suste passed away very unexpectedly at the age of 36. You can never express the bitter sadness and grief and the heaviness we feel in our hearts. My sister, Mari Williams and her son, Brandon are at a loss for their son and brother Torean. You cannot begin to imagine losing someone you have loved dearly, let alone a son and a brother. With all the emotional pain and stress that death brings can also bring financial burdens.

Torean had been so looking forward to Thanksgiving preparing a special meal for his family. In fact a few days before he even shared the recipe with his coworkers. He expressed so much excitement, looking forward to that day.

He also looked forward to putting up the Christmas tree for his family and already had a Christmas list for his nieces and nephew. He loved them so much and couldn’t wait for the holiday to come.

My nephew and the many aunts, uncles and cousins would agree he was a kind and gentle soul who had such a sweet smile, and a very dry sense of humor. Torean deeply cared for his cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, his brother, nieces, nephews, his friends and especially his mom who he left behind. He was her heart and soul caregiver who always did the shopping, cleaning, and cooking for her when he could. His love for her was unconditional.

This Christmas, the first Christmas. The empty seat at the table, the empty kitchen where he cooked, the empty living room chair that he sat beside her and now the front door that seems quiet. Is now where that memory will forever be and will forever remain in her heart.

In our hearts, our family understands that this is a season for giving. We would so kindly appreciate any prayers, thoughts or donations that would help Mari and her family in need. In this family tree of ours, a limb has been broken and taken away from us all too soon. God bless you in keeping Torean’s memory alive for it’s a memory that no one can ever take away from us.
