Top Surgery Funds for Fernando!

Hello! Update 6/13: thanks to everyone so far for donating and sharing :) I have adjusted my goal based on the idea I may have gotten a new job :) asking for donations this month so I can get remaining supplies for my cats Stevie and Georgie, and so I can pay my insurance premium too! Thanks and happy pride month :) Update 5/6: adding my cashapp and venmo just in case anyone would rather use that, and then I’ll add your donation here :)  Cashapp: $fernandopurrez Venmo: @perezzi  Some of you may know me as Perez or Mx. Perez, but these days I mostly go by Fernando. I chose this name because I like the ABBA song by the same name. I’m reaching out for help ASAP as I have recently lost my job due to serious bullying issues from coworkers. If I hope to have my top surgery June 26 instead of postponing, I need HELP to stay in Madison and maintain my rent, utilities, cat supplies, food, etc.  Whenever I’ve had a free moment to help another person, especially in the lgbtqia+ community, I have made it a point in my life to not just watch change happen but to participate in and drive change. All of my friends and family know this to be true. Currently, my e-bike is my only means of transportation. While this is amazing and definitely reduces my carbon footprint, it’s also going to be difficult for a few weeks and I’d like to have access to funds for delivery services or funds to pay friends to assist. I’m not truly sure about recovery time, as I’ve been dealing with mental health issues as well throughout my life and a congenital issue in my lower back that was recently (finally) diagnosed after a fall down a small set of stairs last July. I can’t promise anything in return for your donations besides my further unending, fiery, and sincere commitment to social justice. I honestly hope I see a day when there are no more gofundme campaigns or other related platforms to provide things like essential surgeries for Trans people and for all of us.
