Top Surgery for Ash

Struggling with body dysphoria for years has caused many mental health problems for me and I have always struggled to get help along the way. I am currently trying to find a therapist and new primary care doctor near me I can confide in to get the approval for hormones and top surgery. This is something I have wanted for many years and didn’t know if I could ever get approval for. Not having a body that matches how I think I should look has caused many social issues for me through the years. Finally getting top surgery would mean I can finally feel like myself and feel comfortable in my own skin. There are lots of things I have stopped doing because of the attention my chest gets. 

I don’t have the support or the resources to do this on my own, I need help getting there. I dream of the day I get to finally breathe again.

Update: I started taking T 5 months ago today and have an appointment for therapy next month. I’m so excited about the changes I’m seeing on hormones and I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to gain access to those affirming surgery in the next year or so.
