PLEASE CAN YOU HELP MAKE REBECCA'S DREAM A REALITY?
As you may know, this September (29th) my sister Rebecca/Becca/Becky turns 40, much to her dismay. She's pretty gutted that she's not 21 anymore and is now well past being able to convince anyone that she is and she's not too keen on any big celebrations. BUT................
You may or may not be aware that she is a big Top Gun fan (who isn't?!) who in her (much) younger years dreamt of being an RAF pilot. This dream was thwarted by her apparently having arms that were too short?! But one thing in the world that she would truly LOVE to do is to be able to go 'Mach Two with her hair on fire' and I desperately want to be able to make this dream come true to make her birthday one to remember for all the right reasons, instead of all the wrong ones!
It is possible for her to be a passenger in a fighter jet in France, but it isn't cheap (approximately £2500 just for the flight and obviously we'd also have to get her there, etc too). Much as I would love to be able to pay for it all myself sadly she isn't blessed with a loaded sister (working with animals doesn't pay well!). This is where you come in.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE would you consider giving a contribution towards making this happen as her birthday gift?
I will create a card filled with messages from everyone who has contributed to make her dream come true.
Please can you also help by (secretly) sharing this page to anyone else that she knows as I don't have contact with many of her friends. To make this happen I really need as much help as I can get so would be grateful for you sharing it far and wide with circles of people that Rebecca knows.
Of course Covid-19 has really scuppered my plans for her doing this on her actual birthday this year so the plan will be, if I can get enough money together, to tell her on her birthday but for her to take the flight next year. Please dig deep if you are able to and help put a ridiculously big grin on the old girls face.
'Sorry to bother you on a Sunday Sir, but thank you for your time'
THANK YOU!
PLEASE ALSO REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A SURPRISE SO DON'T LET IT SLIP!!!!!
