Tony’s tougher than Cancer!

In August,  Anthony “Tony” Bowers was suffering from a hernia and decided it was finely time to get it repaired. Off work for a few weeks was the plan. When the Dr’s went to do the repair they realized that Tony had 3 separate hernias.  Off work for 6 weeks they said. After surgery Tony was pretty sick and they were not sure what was causing it. After a bunch of trips in and out of the hospital and many test they informed him that he has  tumors on the liver and 1 in the common bile duct. After more testing it was determined that the tumors are cancerous. The next step for Tony will be chemotherapy. They are hoping this will shrink the tumors enough that they will then be able to remove them. The Dr’s have told Tony he cannot return to work at this time but are hopeful that he will return before the 1st of the year. Until then our friend could sure use all the support we can give him! He will be doing a lot of traveling for appointments and treatments. Medical bills are going to pile up and hard decisions will have to be made. Please say some prayers for Tony and his Family and show him the support that we know he would show us.
