Tony's Brain Surgery & Recovery

I’m Kevin Pate from Clearwater, FL.  I’m Tony’s childhood friend and lifelong buddy.  On Sunday, December 9th, our friend Tony Ibarguen suffered severe brain trauma, requiring immediate surgery to release swelling and internal bleeding.  Thanks to an amazing team of doctors and nurses as well as the prayers of so many of you, Tony made it through the procedure and is showing encouraging signs of progress.  An open eye, a murmured word, and slight thumbs up are recent celebrated milestones.  While we have faith his recovery will continue to push forward, it is clear that it will be a slow and expensive process.

As Tony continues to fight, we are asking you to fight with us alongside him.  We’re launching this campaign to raise funds to offset the mounting medical expenses his family has and will continue to incur.  We have an immediate goal to raise $15,000 to go towards the surgery, initial recovery, and rehabilitation needs he is likely to encounter on his journey to wellness.  We are looking for your generosity under what could quickly grow to be a debilitating financial burden.

Any financial donation big or small is welcomed.  Let’s rally around Tony and eliminate this burden so he and the family can focus on improvement.  All funds will be transferred directly to Tony  from the campaign.
