Hello everyone!!
Let me tell you about a woman I know. She not just any woman, but a warrior. This warrior mommy, wife, daughter and friend has 2 sons and an amazing husband. Let me share with you her fight!
Shes been wounded but with our support and prayers we will make her body strong and help her win this battle! On June 8th, Tonya was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. When I asked her how she was feeling, like any selfless mother would respond, I'm worried about my husband, my son's and my job. She proceeds to recap some of the best joys in her life. With tears in her eyes and proud smile she says; Teylor is now 12 years old, he is the absolute best thing in my life his smile brightens every single day of my life. He struggles daily with his cerebral palsy and we care for him daily. How am I going to do that sick and no money to give him what he needs. My husband Tom is the hardest working person I know, he takes care of us and the love he has for us is truly amazing he makes sure we have everything we need and then some, he will be without work while he's by my side at the treatment center for 4 months in Kearney. I am leaving my son home for my mother and friends to take care of him.
I asked her what do you like to do for fun? Her smile came back, We love to go fishing and watch movies as a family, we love to be outside and just be together. Tom supports me 100% in anything I do! I am so lucky! She proceeds to talk about her other son Tyrel who is 20 and lives in Winner SD. She said he is my best friend and has been through a lot with me. I love being their mom.
-Tonya works full-time as Store Manager for our Valentine Verizon-AWireless store! I have never met a woman with such a brave story. Such a selfless giving mother and wife. I love having her in my life! She is my joy!
Help me get her through the financial burden and stresses Cancer causes to keep her strong. To ensure she has the care her son needs and a home to come back to after her body kicks this cancers ass with chemotherapy and radiation therapy!
