Tony Schmitz funeral expenses

On behalf of my son, Christopher Schmitz, I am creating this Go Fund Me page so that we can ask friends and family of Tony Schmitz to help us provide a memorial service and proper burial/ cremation for him as he had no insurance or will at the time of his death.
Unfortunately, Tony suffered from mental illness for many years and over the past ten years, his illness progressed to the point where he refused medical treatment or any assistance offered by the people who loved and cared about him. We would like the opportunity to celabrate his life and say our final farewell to a great man who suffered too much for too long.
At the time of his death, Tony had no finances to pay for funeral expenses. We are asking that in lieu of flowers, any donation would be greatly appreciated to help with the funeral expences. Incurred by myself on behalf of his special needs child, Christopher Schmitz.
