On behalf of the Savage family, I am asking for donations that will assist with the cost of burial services for Tony Savage. He was very beloved by his family as well as the community. He was a loving, amazing person who was full of joy. He was very involved with the kids in the community, enabling them with opportunities as well as guiding them as they grew. He was a basketball coach for over 25 years. He didn't have kids, but he loved the team as if they were his own. Coaching was his life and doing it really brought a sparkle in his eyes - traveling and winning games was the happiest you would have seen him. He never missed a game unless there was something wrong or he just felt that bad. He loved to talk about sports and when he did, it was the most you would ever see him talk.
Once his health started to worsen, it took him away from the things he loved most - coaching. He became incredibly ill and had to retire; he couldn't even make it to his own retirement party. This had caused a big change in his life, and it seemed as though time wasn't working in his favor especially since he was a very private person and never wanted to feel anything more than independent.
His passing was very sudden and has impacted the entire community especially his family. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
